As a native New Yorker, design inspiration was everywhere! I initially began my venture into design drawing since I can remember, and then eventually thought… how can expand this in my future? I decided to move forward into graphic design in my undergraduate degree at UCF. Over the years, I had a great time developing layouts for catalogs, including image editing and photo-retouching, design, branding and functioned as an art director when I relocated to Orlando. However, after 20 years in graphic designing, I’ve become so intrigued with how simulation and interactive media are so quickly becoming part of our daily lifestyles and I’m excited at its limitless potential into education, military and medical training. For this reason, I decided to shift gears into an interactive career, specifically into 3D modeling and simulation. My exploration into 3D modeling and expansion in 2D design can be portrayed in my week to week experience at my UCF’s Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy blog. I hope this inspires you to keep dreaming and exploring!
